Black Triangle Drug
At ADAllen we pride ourselves on being able to forge strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.
Supplying a customer with a product that had Black Triangle status was not going to be a straightforward task. Black triangle products are new drugs and vaccines which are being intensively monitored in order to confirm the risk/benefit profile of the product – illustrated by the inverted black triangle symbol. This means, in effect, that the drug is still closely monitored by the Commission on Human Medicines and the MHRA.
In this instance, the manufacturer had reservations about supplying the drug on the basis that any adverse effects may not be reported in an appropriate manner. Project Manager Jess worked closely with the customer to ensure that a system was developed which was sufficiently robust to reassure the manufacturer, who then agreed to supply the drug.
We always ensure that both customer and supplier are frequently updated. By working collaboratively with our suppliers, we have gained an excellent reputation for our integrity and reliability.
